The Bijli Mahadev Trek is one of the most stunning short treks in the Kullu Valley, leading to a sacred hilltop temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The trek features a climb through dense forests of pine and deodar, opening up to expansive green meadows at the top. The temple is famous for its 60-foot-high staff that attracts divine lightning, which periodically shatters the Shiva Lingam, only for it to be restored with butter by the temple priests. The summit offers a breathtaking 360-degree view of the Parvati and Kullu valleys.
