FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Answers to the most common questions from our traveler community.
How do I book a trip with YouthCamping?+
Browse published trips, pick a departure date and joining point listed on that trip, then complete the booking form or WhatsApp the team. Your seat is confirmed after YouthCamping receives the advance on the official bank/UPI details.
What payment modes are accepted?+
We accept bank transfers (NEFT/IMPS), UPI to the official YouthCamping accounts, and cash at our office at Money Plant High Street, A 738, Jagatpur Rd, Gota, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 382470. The website does not accept card payments. Do not pay via third-party portals or agents not listed on this website.
When is full payment due?+
Full payment has to be done before 15 days of trip departure. An advance booking amount is required to secure your seat and is non-refundable.
Who books the train tickets?+
When train travel is part of the published itinerary, YouthCamping handles those IRCTC bookings. Ticket status (Confirmed / RAC / WL) is shared with you. Confirmed status is not guaranteed.
What if my train ticket is on Waiting List?+
We monitor waiting-list status and inform you. If a ticket does not confirm closer to departure, we arrange alternative transport where possible or refund the ticket cost as stated on that trip.
What types of stays are included in the trip?+
Stays follow the published itinerary for that trip — typically hotels, homestays, or camps listed on the trip page. Check the inclusions on the specific trip rather than assuming a stay type.
Are meals included in the package?+
Meal inclusions vary by trip. Most Himalayan itineraries include breakfast and dinner as listed. Tell us dietary needs in advance; we cannot promise every kitchen can cover every restriction.
How large are the travel groups?+
Group size varies by trip and batch. See the specific trip page for that departure. If a batch has fewer than 10 people, the driver may also guide the group, as stated in our Terms.
Is this safe for solo female travelers?+
Solo travelers are welcome. Room sharing is arranged by gender, and a trip captain travels with the group. We do not publish unverified safety statistics — read the itinerary and talk to the team if you have specific concerns.
What happens in a medical emergency at high altitude?+
Trip captains carry a first-aid kit. High-altitude itineraries include acclimatization notes on that trip page. For emergencies, the on-ground team coordinates local medical help. Equipment such as oxygen is not claimed as standard on every trip.
