Itinerary
Day 1: Reporting at Kasol Campsite
  • Welcome to the campsite in Kasol! Today is a leisure day before our Sarpass trek begins. Take the morning to explore Kasol's charming streets and vibrant market, indulging in local cuisine and picking up any last-minute essentials.
  • In the afternoon, consider a hike to Chalal village or simply relax at the campsite. As evening falls, gather around the campfire for stories and a delicious dinner under the stars. Rest up tonight, as tomorrow marks the start of our adventure into the Himalayas.
Day 2: Kasol and Trek to Grahan village | 5-6 Hours Trek
  • Once you arrive in Kasol, a cozy village tucked away in the Parvati Valley, you'll settle into our campsite. After grabbing your packed lunch, your Trek Leader will give you a briefing to get you all set for the adventure ahead. Then, it's time to hit the trail from Kasol to Grahan village.
  • The path meanders through thick forests, treating you to breathtaking views of the Parvati Valley. Along the way, you'll encounter charming streams and waterfalls, adding to the tranquil atmosphere of the trek. As you ascend, the terrain gets tougher, presenting a challenge that's both invigorating and rewarding.
  • By late afternoon, you'll arrive at Grahan village, a postcard-perfect settlement nestled amidst towering mountains. The village is renowned for its warm hospitality and rich cultural heritage, and you'll be greeted with genuine warmth. Spend the night camping under the starlit sky, surrounded by the serene beauty of the mountains. The soothing sounds of nature will lull you into a peaceful slumber, leaving you refreshed and eager for the adventures that await on the next leg of your journey.
 Day 3: Grahan Village to Min Thatch | 4-5 Hours Trek
  • Today's trek takes you through enchanting pine and oak forests, where the lush greenery and fresh mountain air awaken your senses. As you ascend, small streams trickle by, adding to the peaceful atmosphere surrounding you.
  • Upon reaching Min Thach, it's time to set up camp and unwind in the tranquil surroundings. As night falls, marvel at the breathtaking display of stars overhead, illuminating the sky in a mesmerizing dance.
  • After a restful night's sleep under the starry canopy, you'll wake up feeling rejuvenated and ready to tackle the adventures that await on the next leg of your journey.
 Day 4: Min Thatch to Nagaru | 3-4 Hours Trek
  • On the third day of the trek, brace yourself for a challenging journey as you make your way towards Nagaru, situated at an altitude of 12,500 feet. The trail ahead is steep and often covered in snow, requiring careful navigation and steady footing.
  • Despite the difficulty, press on with determination, taking each step mindfully. By late afternoon, you'll reach the elevated destination of Nagaru. Here, amidst the rugged terrain, you'll set up camp for the night, surrounded by the awe-inspiring beauty of the Himalayan landscape. Rest well, for tomorrow holds new adventures and breathtaking vistas to explore.
Day 5: Nagaru to Biskeri Thatch via Sar Pass | 8-9 Hours Trek
  • Prepare for an early start on this day, as you'll begin your trek to the Sar Pass Summit around 2:00 AM. The journey takes you towards Biskeri Thach via Sar Pass, which stands proudly at an altitude of 13,800 feet.
  • Traverse through snow-covered mountains, the chilly air adding a sense of adventure to your ascent. Crossing Sar Pass marks a significant milestone, filling you with a deep sense of achievement and exhilaration.
  • By late afternoon, you'll arrive at Biskeri Thach, where you'll set up camp for the night. Nestled amidst the rugged wilderness, take a moment to savor the tranquility of your surroundings and reflect on the incredible journey you've undertaken thus far. Rest up, for tomorrow holds new horizons and adventures yet to be discovered.
Day 6: Biskeri Thach to Barsheni and Return to Kasol | 3-4 Hours Trek
  • The fifth and final day of the trek begins with a sense of accomplishment and anticipation. After breakfast, you'll begin your descent towards Barsheni.
  • Barsheni is a small village located at the end of the trek. The descent is relatively easy, allowing you to enjoy the stunning views of the mountain ranges and lush green forests surrounding you.
  • Upon reaching Barsheni, you'll have some time to explore the village, interact with the locals, and shop for souvenirs if you wish. From Barsheni, we'll Drive to Kasol Basecamp where the trek ends.
